Terms and conditions

Mini-skool-fishes reserve the right to make amendments to our Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our business or statutory requirements. Changes will be posted on our website or displayed onsite and if necessary emailed to customers. Once changes have been posted they are deemed as current.
The safety and wellbeing of mini-skool-fishes customers and staff are our priority at all times.

Teachers
• Please be assured that all mini-skool-fishes staff and swimming instructors are DBS checked. All swimming instructors hold relevant teaching qualification from either the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or the Swimming Teachers Association (STA).

• Mini-skool-fishes will try to ensure that our customers receive the same swimming instructor at all times. However, should this teacher fall ill, be on leave we may need to provide an alternative teacher. This will not affect the quality of lesson provided and all customers have record cards which are updated after every lesson.
Behaviour and responsibilities

• All children attending baby and Pre School swimming lessons; Tadpoles, Goldfish and Sharks, must be accompanied in the water by their adult at all times.

• Children attending Tadpoles, Goldfish and Sharks, who are still in nappies, we insist on a double nappy policy, whereby correctly fitting swim nappies must be worn and a reusable swim nappy purchased from reception must be placed on top. Any leakage may result in costs.

• Unfortunately, only one accompanying adult per child can be in the water in Tadpoles, Goldfish and Sharks sessions, and must be 18 years or over.

• No jewellery, hairclips permitted in the pool.

• Before entering the pool all customers must shower.

• Customers are responsible for the child in their care at all times, except when in the water participating in 1-2-1 lessons.

• Customers must inform their swimming instructor should they be aware of any concerns that may affect the child during their swim time.

• Customers are expected to behave in a civilised manor to swimming instructors, staff and other members of the pubic at all times. Failure to do so may lead to removal from the premises. Should this occur no pre-paid lessons will be reimbursed.

• Customers must accept that whilst teaching a child to swim, physical contact will occur between instructor and child. Mini-skool-fishes ensure that all instructors are aware of proper conduct.

• Customers must arrive 10 minutes before the start of a lesson in order to be ready at poolside to start lessons promptly. Any delay and lateness will not lead to lessons running over unless due to circumstances arising through mini-skool-fishes.

• Outdoor shoes must be covered by overshoes whilst on mini-skool-fishes premises. Common sense applies to heavy soiled shoes not creating soil and mess that can lead to untidy premises.

• Smoking is strictly forbidden on mini-skool-fishes premises and grounds.

• Photographs are permitted; however please only photograph your own child unless permission has been granted from other parents. Mini-skool-fishes reserve the right to delete photographs.

• Mini-skool-fishes holds no responsibility for lost property, or property whilst on premises or in parking area. Any property left is at owners own risk.

Cancellation Policy
• Mini-skool-fishes require 2 weeks’ notice should you decide that you no longer require swimming lessons.

• Any lessons missed due to unexpected illness cannot be reimbursed, however where possible we will offer a catch up lesson depending on availability (this is not guaranteed but we will do our best to look after our customers).

• Lessons are prepaid and we do not offer holiday breaks as your weekly payment holds your space.

• In the unlikely event that your lesson be cancelled by mini-skool-fishes, we will of course provide a full refund.

Complaints procedure
We hope that you are delighted with every aspect of the mini-skool-fishes experience, however, should you be unhappy, please do not hesitate to raise your issue with a member of staff, alternatively please leave your contact details and a manager will contact you to discuss and rectify any issues.
